Photoshop: how to save as GIF?

hi my name is maria and i have dyslexia. i hear from friends and google that photoshop can make gif photos. is it true? i cant find it on here and i have been looking on here. is it something i need to downloading to my computer. or can i find it on photoshop website? does it cost to make gif on here?

Just make sure your image is 8 bit/channel RGB, then save as Compuserve GIF, or save via SaveForWeb and choose GIF as the format (this lets you tweak the conversion a bit more).

okay what prodoct do i use? fo i use Adobe Photoshop Products? or Adobe Photoshop? or Adobe Photoshop Lightroom? or Adobe Photoshop Elements? or Adobe Premiere Elements? or Adobe Photoshop Touch? or Adobe Photoshop Express? or Links & Resources? im new here and it did not say on google what program on photoshop i need to use to make gif it just say photoshop

You could use Photoshop or Elements.

okay why dose it cost Money. dosent Photoshop have anything for free to make gif photo? and can i make gif photo from youtube ot Music videos?

Because it is commercial software that does many things beyond just saving as GIF.

There are free image editors available, but they don't come close to Photoshop's features and capabilities.
