How do I edit my account information for PS Express? I can see my account info and found that my name is somehow misspelled Although I can launch and use the app, any changes,in-app purchases, or even rating it in the app come up with a "you must purchase the app first" message. If I can correct the misspelling it should recognize me again, but I cant find the "edit account" feature to do that.

Express has 2 sets of possible account information: iOS/Apple information, and Adobe ID information.

You manage both through the appropriate sites (Apple, or Adobe ID).

Since the account with the typo is labeled with the Adobe icon, i went for door number 2. Only problem with that is that Adobe ID refuses to load, no matter how I try to enter the sign-in site. The gear just keeps turning. I am running iOS 7.0.2 on an iPad 5. If the site is down, that's understandable. If not, I don't know what to do next. Any ideas?

If it's an Adobe ID, you can always log into Adobe.com to view and modify your account. http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/po...

It is, and I did. Curiously, even though I successfully got into the account and changed the typo, saved it, and when I logged back into Adobe ID to make sure that the change stuck, when I opened the PS Express App and clicked on the gear to view account, the typo on my name had not changed. I have shut down the iPad completely twice, restarted it, opened the app and the typo is still there. Now what?

Did you log out and back in from express?

Jeffrey, Yes I did log out and log back in, more than once. No change. I even tried to "kill" the app by double clicking the control button and holding the PSE icon until all active programs pop up and squirm, but apparently iOS 7.0.2, no longer has the "kill app" feature. I hope that you see this as your question/reply showed in my Yahoo inbox, but when I touched "view reply" this screen sans your question but with a reply box in it came up so hopefully you will. However, I will copy it in the "Reply to this Topic" box also just to make sure. Thanks!

OK. Someone on the PS Express team may need to pipe in.

You can kill/close apps on iOS 7 but the UI is pretty different than older iOSes:

Ok, this is just too weird. I opened PSE this evening, clicked the gear and the edits that I had done per your directions, but which had not transferred to my account when accessed through the app itself - suddenly cleared itself out and the typo that I had been unsuccessfully trying to fix now reflects the edits. Although I had completely shut down the app, the device, and repeatedly closed, wiped the app clean and rebooted, apparently the gremlins finally got tired of messing with me and went somewhere else to mess with somebody's head, or could the PSEtroubleshooters get into my app/machine while awake and fix it remotely? Either way; a win. Thanks!

Cool. Thanks for closing the loop. Sounds like it took some time for the account change to propagate across to the Revel domain.
