I want to share a new feature idea, where you can automatically compile sketch drawings in one layer.

For example, you open 5+ images of your scanned drawings, or photographs with your drawings in it. Instead of manually using a selection tool on each of them, there is a feature where it detects the outlines of your drawing in each image, and automatically compiling them into one layer. I hope you consider this idea :D Thanks!

Not saying this won't be a feature later, but until then here's a thing.
Assuming you just want to compile sketches into one flattened layer a quick workflow for this:
  1. Import drawings somehow
  2. Adjust levels so white is actually white
  3. Group them together - ctrl(cmd)-G
  4. Change blend mode on group to "Multiply"
  5. Select-All - ctrl(cmd)-A
  6. Copy Merged - ctrl(cmd)-shift-C
  7. Paste
If you want outlines with transparency, there's a blendmode that will help you:

So you can tell the layer (or group) that it should be transparent if it is brighter than a certain amount.
