Photoshop: I made the mistake of updating CC 2018 after updating CC 2019

I made the mistake of updating CC 2018 after updating CC 2019 -- because Adobe CC kept insisting I do it. As a result, Bridge was opening 18 instead of 19. The workaround is to open CC 19 before opening Bridge. This is NOT the way it should work, but it is what it is.

go into the bridge preferences and check the file type associations, select which version opens certain file types.

I've found that CC defaults to the last version that is updated.

Yes, thanks. And Adobe never explains why you also have to update 18, which, if you've updated 19, you will never use again. I updated 19, and Adobe CC kept reminding me to also update 18. Also note that updating 19 is above 18 on the CC App Update screen, suggesting you should do 19 first. I have straightened almost all of it out now. but never should have had to do it.
