I just had my iMac upgraded to the Yosemite OS and now my PS CS2 won't open. Since I have been a PS user for years, I hope I do not have to buy a totally new version of this software!!! I need PS for my small at home business and I'm on deadline so this is urgent. What can I do?

Photoshop CS2 was written for PowerPC processors, not Intel (which is required to run MacOS 10.11).
You cannot run CS2 on a current Macintosh with MacOS 10.11.
You will need to purchase a more recent version that supports Intel processors.
