I don't know the in's and out's of the whole 'CC' idea, so I'm curious about those few things, like how long you have to lease for, whether or not it just goes dead at that point, or what...

Hi Bob,

The Creative Cloud Photography plan is the best value for photographers and is available through Adobe.com here:

https://creative.adobe.com/plans/phot...

or if you prefer, through Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K... (monthly)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O... (Yearly pre-paid)

The Creative Cloud Photography Plan includes Photoshop, Lightroom, Lightroom mobile, and you get all the product updates/upgrades (e.g. Photoshop 2014, 2015, 2016, etc & Lightroom 6, LR7, LR8, LR9, etc) for OS and native camera compatibility as part or your ongoing membership.

If you decide to end your membership, Photoshop CC will no longer work. Note: Signing up for or canceling a Creative Cloud Complete or Photoshop Photography Program does *not* affect any perpetual licenses you own.

With Lightroom, at the end of a membership, the Lightroom desktop application will continue to launch and provide access to the photographs managed within Lightroom as well as the Slideshow, Web, Book or Print creations that we know many photographers painstakingly create. The Develop and Map modules are disabled in order to signal the your membership has ended. Access to Lightroom mobile workflows will also cease to function.
