Elements 2018: Its not staying in Editor

I have PS Elements 2018. I open Organiser then open a photo. Then i enter Editor but when i begin modifying the photo i get kicked back to Organiser and the Editor is closed. Can you help? My PC has 4GB of RAM

Did you upgrade to Windows 10 recently?
If so, I would first check if the bug created by that Microsoft update is not the culprit.

Hi. Thank you for the quick response. I did update Windows 10 a couple of days ago. I've tried the link you sent but I get a "404 page not found".

Won't say it isn't Windows 10 but could is it a new adobe product?   Try resetting the program.  This sounds like a misbehaving Adobe program.
