Lightroom: I have a collection of 256 presets and I would like to create 256 different iterations of the same photo automatically

Is there a Batch or script function that lets me create many iterations based on a single photo using many presets. For example I have hundreds of presets and would like to see how a specific photo would look like with these 100 different presets applied but each one on it's own. So that I then can look through the 100 photos and pick which one worked the best. Rather than manually having to do the iterations. i.e. apply 100 presets to one photo and get 100 photos - each based on another preset in Lightroom CC.

See the Excessor plugin, which does exactly that.

You might also check out my Any Preset plugin, which attacks the core problem in a different way -- you can use the up/down arrow keys to move through the list of presets, previewing them very quickly in a full-size Loupe (not in the tiny Navigator thumbnail).  When you see a candidate you like, you click the Virtual Copy button. Then exit the plugin and choose the virtual copy you like the best.

Hi John, Thanks for your post. I checked out that plug in and installed it while I prefer the way this plug in works compared to LR itself it would be nice to have that built in.

Also the plug in seems to require me to open folders via mouse rather than using curser keys to cycle through the presets in one folder and then presets in the next folder above or below. It would be awesome if I could when clicking up go to the next preset in the folder above it - rather than having to use the mouse again then cycling through that folder by curser keys (I guess I could just dump a copy of all presets into a single folder). But thanks this plug in is really neat and a work around not quite what I asked for but closer to what I had in mind for LR itself.

Patrik, I'll email you privately with instructions on how to do what you want with the plugin.
