Lightroom does not see that 2 pictures are aligned enough to do a panorama, but photoshop does.
The 2 pictures may be find : http://www.fitougraphie.com/work/

Laurent.....  You're an optimist, the 2 pictures do not overlap correctly so that LR can treat them...  Be careful during the shooting....

I tried with photoshop, and I had the "third" image, same folder, and it is good enough to me since I got some pictures in the left and right, a diamond merge should work.
The point is, why is it good enough for photoshop and not lightroom ... it is a part of a 360 picture, but photoshop does not keep the horizon straight, lightroom does have a good horizon, but it misses too many pictures ...

I tried on another program (ICE aka Image Composite Editor) and it did the trick, sometimes I feel bad buying softwares that have algorythm beaten by a 2015 freeware.
Of course I had to work with only .tiff, but at least I got all the images in a panorama.

LR Photo Merge to Panorama uses the raw data with no adjustments applied and Edit In Merge to Panorama in PS uses a rendered image file with all the adjustments applied. That could make a difference in the ability to stitch the images. Try adjusting the Basic panel settings on the first image for better toning and then Sync the settings to the second image. Export to full-size TIFF and try LR Photo Merge to Panorama with the two export image files.
