Is there a lens profile in Lightroom CC 2015 for the Sigma 24mm f2.8 macro for Nikon?

Hi Bernie,

There is no official Adobe profile for this lens. If this is the same lens I am familiar with, it is a legacy product we do not have access to for generating a profile, so it is unlikely there will be an official profile in the near term.

You may be able to find a user-generated profile using the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader available from the following page:

Hope that helps,

- Chris

Thanks Chris,

I sheepishly admit that I tried that link yesterday and couldn't figure out how to use it. The download I almost took said it was for advanced users and since I didn't really understand, I thought I better not use it.

Hi Bernie,

I searched through the user-generated profiles and found one for this lens. Unfortunately it was created with an APS-C camera, so the profile may only work best with an APS-C Nikon body. If your camera is a full frame body, this may not work for you.

You can download it from this temporary link if you wish to try it out:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ukn6m5ezjg6...

To use the profile, it must be installed in the following location.

Mac:

/Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0

Windows:

C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0

Restart CameraRaw/Lightroom and it should be available. I'm not certain if this profile will automatically match, so you may need to locate it manually via the Lens Profile tab (Make, Model, Profile).

Also note that this profile will work for only RAW files, not for JPEG.

Regards,

- Chris

Hi Chris, thanks for your help. I have a full frame (d750) camera but I will download it and try it anyway. Thanks again, Bernie
