I cannot open Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 on my HP Pavilion laptop.

I got Photoshop Elements 15 as a Birthday present from my boyfriend in August, and I want to make use of it but for some reason it won't open anymore, despite working fine when it was first installed. This laptop came with windows 10, has not been upgraded to it. No error message is shown when trying to open it- it just opens a new tab at the bottom of the screen but goes no further than that. I'm scared to uninstall it then reinstall it in case it doesn't let me re-use the code. Advice, please?

If you right click on that tab on the bottom task bar, do get the menu option "Photohop Elements 15 Editor"? It should open the editor on your display.

Thank you for the advice. I've tried that, but that option doesn't pop up :/  This is what comes up for me:

My guess is that Elements 15 is open but hidden behind existing windows.
If you right click on the first option again, you should open the 'welcome dialog' which lets you open either the editor or the organizer.
Let's try opening the editor directly from the explorer.
The exe file is located in the following path:
- This PC
- Windows (C:)
- Programs
- Adobe
- Photosop Elements 15
In that folder, you can double click on the 'PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe' file to start the editor directly. You can create a shortcut on your desktop for that location.

To avoid problems with the display of program windows in PSE15, it's recommended not to use the Windows preferences to auto-hide the taskbar.
