I just got a new photoshop cs6, but to my horror discovered that all but one of the filters I used, are not working any more. Is there a way to use 8bf on a 64 bit version? Any advice? Thanks!

8bf is any photoshop filter plugin.

But if you have old 32 bit plugin filters, you can use them in the 32 bit version of Photoshop.
But 64 bit applications can't load or use 32 bit DLLs, so the 32 bit plugins cannot work with the 64 bit version of Photoshop.

I've been testing dozens of old plugins and filters for a friend and so far, these will not work in the 32-bit version of Photoshop CS6 either.

Older 32 bit plugins do work in the 32 bit version of Photoshop (only on Windows, since Macintosh is now 64 bit only).

I would be interested to hear if you are able to get any from the above list working, as I have not been able to. Putting them directly in to the Windows 32-bit plugin folder, they all have the same end resulting in closing Photoshop. I've asked a few others about it, they are having the same result. Some 32-bit plugins still work, it seems random, but these particular ones do not.

I don't recognize any of the folders you posted above - if those are filters, they are not filters I have heard of before.

I have not been able to get this to work, I purchased CorelPaintShop as well and the filters are still working there ... Probably not what you would like to hear ... :-(

Corel PaintShop Pro isn't a 64bit application. Did you try running Photoshop in 32bit and installing the latest plug-ins from the plug-in manufacturers website? http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/t...
