Revel: How to get started sharing photos with friends

I am struggling with getting started and sharing photos. I have Elements 10 and I am a member of Photosop.com. I have uploaded the pics in an album from a folder on my computer. Should this have been done through Elements? I did not create an album in Elements. So how do I share this, where do I get the URL to the album? Is there a training or quick start reference page to just get started?

Can I create an email list within Elements or Photoshop.com?

I have no idea what I am doing!
Thanks

Davd,
Have you had your images migrated to Revel from Photoshop.com yet?
Please see http://forums.adobe.com/community/ps....
FAQ: Revel Transition basics: What’s happening, when, and why?
http://forums.adobe.com/message/50060...

The Photoshop.com service is being discontinued as we are migrating accounts to be viewed in Revel. It would be best for you to have your images in Revel.
Please see our FAQ Forum post "How do I share my photos in Revel" http://forums.adobe.com/thread/115799...
Let me know if you have any questions regarding Revel as I can help you understand the transition
Thanks
Scott

I do not. Does a published link redirect to the pics in Revel after they are moved from Photoshop.com?
Will PE 10 let me sync to Revel?

Davd,
In Revel you have to manually share out your images in an album. You can share the link with others to view your images.
Photoshop elements 10 does not have a direct connection to Revel. Photoshop Elements 11 does have the ability to upload and download images to Revel.

Please see our FAQ Forum post "How do I share my photos in Revel" http://forums.adobe.com/thread/115799...

Here is a link to " How do I upload photos to Revel" http://forums.adobe.com/message/51141... as this shows you screen shots for uploading your images to Revel.
Thanks

Thanks. In order to make sharing\syncing as transparent as possible, upgrading to PE11 would help, correct?

Does PE11 also allow you to change the template in Revel?

Dave,
Yes it would help, as you can edit your images in Elements 11 and then upload them directly to Revel.

There is not any templates in Revel for images. There is editing adjustment filters that you can apply to the images. (Editing of images in Revel is only currently available in Revel mac app, Iphone and Ipad.) There is many effects/backgrounds that you can apply to your image in Photoshop Elements 11 before uploading to Revel.

If you are a pc user then it would be best for you to edit your images in Photoshop Elements 11 then upload the images to Revel from Elements.
I hope this helps answer your question
Thanks
Scott

Thanks for all of the input, it is very helpful. I uploaded a slideshow in PE10 to photoshop.com. There was a template involved for the slideshow. I do not know if that template resided in PE10 or on-line. It was part of the PE10 Share Tabs. So if I create a slideshow in PE11 and want a certain template for the slideshow, is that pushed from PE11 to Revel, or is that a Revel function for Apple users?

I am a PC user.

If template is added to the image and saved as a jpg, then you can upload that image. Once the images are uploaded to Revel, then you click on an image in an album to play a slide show of all the images in the album.
Thanks
