LIGHTROOM: How to change automatic location names of geotagget photos?

When I get automatic location names of geotagged I some times want to change them. What I would naturally do was to find all photos with the same location names using the library filter and then I would like to change the names (for example Norway --> Norge). But as I do so all the other location fields are emptied and also all selected photos are removed from the current filter (since I for example have made a filter on country Norway.

So basically there are two problems here: automatic location names are removed, and the library filter should be possible to not auto update (for example a switch in the bottom or top of the Library Filter pane).

You can filter your photos and then add them to a temporary collection (a quick collection works for this) so they don't disappear as you update them.

Thanks for the suggester workaround. It will work, but it makes the job very tideous. I really hope Adobe may look into this and make this more user-friendly.

Luckily I found a solution that at least works better for me than the temporary collection:
1) Apply whatever filter that is relevant (in my case: country, location, etc)
2) Select whatever photo in the grid and go to Metadata/Copy Metadata...
3) Clear all selected fields and add the metadata I want to apply to the filtered photos
4) Press Copy
5) Select all photos (cmd+A)
6) Metadata/Paste Metadata

Again the photos will vanish from grid since we're applying a filter, but this time we managed to set all the fields we wanted to set instead of just one.

I just wish Adobe could make this even simpler!
