Revel (formerly Carousel) is purchased by subscription. Everyone gets a 30-day complimentary trial. Beyond that, you have to pay: the cost is $5.99/month or $59.99/year through January 2012. If you sign up at this price you will get to renew at the same price for two years. If you sign up after January 2012, the price will be $9.99/month or $99.99/year.

One Adobe Revel subscription allows you, along with up to 5 other close friends or family members, the ability to use Revel on all of your supported devices and team up on photo libraries. In other words, the people you team up with don’t need to pay.

Where is the how collaboration works explanation?
25 other close friends need to have carousel installed ?
They will not pay for that?
They can edit/delete/add photos?

You can share your carousels with up to 5 other people. They do have to download and install the app, but they don't have to pay for it. They'll be able to do everything to the photos that you can do: view, edit, share, and yes, delete photos. See Getting started with Adobe Revel for more about how it works.

With the release of Adobe Revel 1.8 this week, the product and service has changed to a free-to-use model that will never expire a user's account. For more info, please see:

Hi,
What is the estimated release date of the Windows version?
Should I wait and not go to other sync-pictures-service providers?

Hi Lior

There is limited support for Windows using our web interface at www.adoberevel.com, where we are adding new features and capabilities often.

We have people working on native Windows support, but unfortunately are blocked from estimating an app release date. All I can say is check back in the future if Revel doesn't suit your needs immediately.

Thanks,
Charlie
