There are no limits on photos! Carousel 1.0 supports JPEGs and you can import as many as you want. No matter how many you import, we preserve your originals, and we don't downsample them. Keep in mind that your desktop computer has copies of your originals, so you'll need enough disk space on your computer to accommodate all your photos.

All my photos are on my desktop computer in a folder. If upload these to carousel and choose "store locally" does that mean I'll have 2 copies of all my photos on my desktop - I mean one in the original folder, and one in the carousel library?
This would take up a lot of space! what happens if I don't "save locally" anywhere? would I still have my original in my folder on my desktop? Would I still be able to access all my pics on carousel from my ipad?
All info most wrlcome as I don't see any info on this anywhere.
cheers

Hi mc c,

Correct, the "store locally" feature saves local copies of all photos in the carousel, so you could end up with duplicates if you had imported the photos on that same system. You can just turn off the "store locally" feature to save space if you want, it doesn't affect anything on other devices like your iPad.

Not sure if this addressed directly but here are some resources which might be helpful.

Hope that helps
