How does the lens profile correction works when you use a Extender?

Hello again,

my second question issues the lens profiles shipped with Lr. Until now this works fine for me but I'm planning to buy a new lens. This would be the "Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM". To extend the focal width I would also buy the Canon Extender EF 2x III.
Now I would be interessted if the lens profile correction works with the shipped profiles in Lr? Will it be that the standard profile for the lens gets applied or is there another way? What would be best?
Thanks!

I'd expect that, for best results, you would want to create your own lens profile. http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/le...

The lens would need a profile when the extender is attached. I know PTLens has this. I have not looked at Adobe.

The big problem here is that Canon has many versions of their extenders. Not to mention other brands.
