Photoshop: How do you replicate the results from Oloneo Photoengine's Re-light?

Is it possible to replicate the results they get from Oloneo Photoengine's relight in Photoshop?

You can come pretty close using 32 bit HDR layers and Add blend mode.

No, not really. You just stack the images of the background and lighted versions, then mix them and colorize them to your liking.

No, use adjustment layers. Though I guess you could hand-color them if you wanted.

Hmmm, which adjustment layer should I use? I always get the blown-out effect.
