In Revel, I have a private and a shared carousel. If I have a photo(s) in my private carousel, how do I move them to the shared carousel without exporting and then reimporting to the shared carousel?

Revel doesn't currently support copying between carousels. You'd have to import images again. We realize the current design has users treating carousels like albums, instead of the all-encompassing libraries they're intended to be. We're working on support for traditional albums for better organization and sharing.

How can you move photos between libraries / carousels on adoberevel.com, since I don't own any apple products?

Since I cannot create new libraries / carousels with only Android and Windows yet, I now upload all my photos into one library / carousel and hope that later on, it will be possible to move whole albums to new libraries / carousels.

The proposal to reimport the images is ridiculous, because the trial period is only 30 days, after that reimporting images would be expensive!

Allowing users to copy or move images between libraries is on our roadmap, but I can't estimate how soon it'll be implemented. Until then, I would say get all your images in Revel during the unlimited 30 day trial period. Also, create the libraries you'll want, since you can't create new libraries when the unlimited 30 day trial period ends, unless you are a paid subscriber. Later, when we enable copy/move, you should be set up well for it.

Unfortunately, I don't have any Apple product, so I cannot create new libraries. Will it be made possible within the next 30 days to create new ones with the web interface?

Hi Christian -- just saw your question here. This is something we know we'd like to add, but I can't comment on when specifically this might be implemented in the web interface.

What? Are you telling me that I cannot change the order of images in an album? When my images and album structure were moved from ps.com to Revel, the order of the images in each of my 120-plus albums was changed. The order of the images is important. How do I fix this?

Hi Allen

Currently, Revel doesn't allow custom ordering of photos within albums like Elements does. We're keeping track of feedback like yours, using it to guide our feature development, so we do appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!
