I cannot find directions anywhere for loading new custom shapes, brushes, patterns etc etc.

I have downloaded the files and then dragged and dropped then into > Presets > Custom Shapes and then opened Ps and gone to Custom Shapes and clicked Load

However, when I do it this way the Custom Shapes folder is empty. But when I go to Custom Shapes without going through Ps they are listed. ??

Could someone please help me out?

I have looked every where for directions to no avail.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Hope you're having a wonderful day/night : )

You're looking at 2 different folders - note the actual paths: one in the Photoshop presets folder, and the other is in your personal storage folder.

You can drag and drop the files onto Photoshop, or open them from the menu on each preset picker, or load them from the preset manager.
