Feedback site: How do I find a topic I created?

I just came across this site yesterday, and thought what a great thing that I can finally share my feedback/frustrations/heartaches with Adobe developers, and actually get feedback and responses....

So I posted a couple of topics.....and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get back to them to find out if a reply has been posted.. Of course, now there's no way of knowing if I'll be able to find my way back to this thread should someone post a response... :P

Anyone!!??

Thanks!!

I just figured that one out after posting this question...but it's kind of a catch 22... If I'm not viewing a topic I've posted, there's nowhere to click on my name!

On the right side of the page should be a column that starts with your icon, name, and a list of contributions you've made. Click on the icon.

It usually is. But I've noticed that sometimes it isn't, and I'm not sure why.

How do you find the questions you asked. I have 1 question and 1 problem and I cant seem to find it. Think there would be a link on here to be able to locate them. Am I missing something.

Chris--Am I total fool and is there something I'm missing?? I don't see my icon, my name, or a list of contributions I've made. Note that I am logged in, and I see the same thing (or lack of the same thing) in both Safari and Firefox.

And if I click on my name in the top bar, I get to account settings, but I don't see a list of my contributions there either.

Sorry, I found it. I didn't realize that if you are browsing topics, that column is not there, but if you click on the "Community" on the upper left, then it shows up.

I must say that I find browsing this forum very unintuitive, but I have answered my own question.

Can't seem to find any easy way either to find out if any new responses have been added to any of my topics.. Is there a subscribe option? Or an easy way to see this when I log in? Thanks!

Thanks!

Actually, it shows that I'm following my topics but I don't seem to get any kind of notice when any of them have been updated...

One other one is it always takes me 16 hours to find this community whenever I'm on a different computer, and start at photoshop.com!! What's the easiest way to get back here from the main site!?

I'm feeling so high maintenance...yow!

Go to feedback.photoshop.com, log in (if you don't log in automatically) and then click on your avatar. The problem is that the avatar is not visible at all times while on the site.

I think I (just barely) managed to figure out how to navigate this site. Right now - as I ́m writing these lines - I ́m in the breadcrumb path Community > Topics > New Topic. I found that out by trial and error. Perhaps someone might want to look into the user friendliness of this site ́s navigation?

(The direct reason I ́m writing this is that I just posted an "idea" and had a hard time finding it again later.)

You should be able to log in with your Adobe ID - or you can opt to login using Facebook, Twitter or Gmail. You can click the "Follow" button next to the [+1] at the bottom of the original topic to subscribe to topics. You can see all the topics you're participating in by clicking your name to bring it to your account page. You can set your global subscriptions/notifications there.

I've made several posts, and I'm following a few others, but I can't seem to find a link on feedback.photoshop.com to the page that shows me these posts. Such a link should be prominent, *and* there should be a link on the main photoshop.com site (since clicking on any of the links (like "Me") take you away from the feedback site).

Bad is the fact that there's even a topic on this (which is pretty strong evidence that the site needs work).

Worse is that the best answer is an employee saying "oh, just click on this non-obvious link that doesn't always show up."

Worst is the main photoshop.com header bar that not only takes you away from the feedback site, but gives you no links *back* to it (unless you count the one in the footer with the pile of other links). The "Me" drop-down should contain a link to "My feedback topics" or similar. At the least, it should be on the home page. It really feels like there are two completely different sites pretending they're only one.

Please O! Please work on this!

I browsed through my local history and bookmarked my "Feedback" profile. Again, just a workaround not a solution.
It seems like the user end of the Adobe site was a little easier to use before ACC erupted into the mainstream. That "Reset" seemed to cloud up things a bit.

how about when you go to the topic from email notification, sign in so to reply, and then we're sent to global community select tree. Yikes, but thankfully, 2 browser "back" and voila, still signed in and where we want to be.
uh oh, here i am not signed in again but there is a replying button down there.

Hey how come last pass wont work here? Now there's another knock on this new forum. Now what's my password? Do I need 24 letters and 134 %^$@& ? OK now the replying button is dead.

under "your community participation", it lists topics started : 8. I'd like to be able to click topics started to see a list of all the topics I have started.
Also I'd like to have "your community participation" accessible via the me drop down in the photoshop.com banner bar or somewhere that I can access it rather than manually having to go back to feedback.photoshop.com

So this was merged in to a question, but I still think my original idea should be an idea in that I think it'd be nice to be able to click on the text "topics I started" to link to the topics I started.

This has to be one of the most frustratingly challenging sites to use and I avoid using it when ever possible.

Ok so I have read all the "answers" for how to find all the topics I am following and/or created but the problem there is no way to find my "avitar" or name link except by going directly to a topic here I have responded.

I cannot find any other page that will give me access to this information. Confusingly every overivew page lists a summary of the topics I have started and responded to but none of that provides a link to those same topics it just counted.

We need to redo some aspects of sign on so I'll ask if we can add a link to your account if you're signed in in the upper left.

In the meantime, I'd recommend bookmarking your profile which is here: http://feedback.photoshop.com/people/...

Jeffrey - where is the link to "Your Dashboard" anywhere else on the site? The only place I have ever found it is working backwards from the link you provided above. The "Your Dashboard" link should be right in the "Me" tab at the top of the screen! (I can't say "not to be negative" because this is negative, but things like this are a prime example of why all things Adobe are just not customer oriented.)

Okay, here is where the problem lies. This site appears to be a small part of the "Get Satisfaction" network. When I access my "Dashboard" I see posts that I have made on this and other forums. So, in order to access your topics, you need to get to "Your Dashboard" though "Get Satisfaction":

Hope this helps!

Terrible navigation i must admit.
No efforts have been made since people complaining a lot.
I'd be happy if someone could go and re-work on it.

WHERE IS THE LINK TO MY DASHBOARD?

If I click onto my name where it says "Welcome, Username" I get redirected here (see image attached)

But no Dahsboard!?

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled How can I get to my Adobe ID account info from this GetSatisfaction site?.

Am I missing something or is there a link missing that directs a user to their "Photoshop Family" community user profile? I've went throught every link at a the top of this page and the bottom and nothing redirects me to my community profile. Why isn't this a part of Adobe ID instead of having a separate log in for every aspect of Adobe products? This is really a dumb way to make things simple for the end user, after all we're the reason you guys have a job, right?

Jeffrey, If I click on the "ME" tab I don't get the same link described and I don't see an avatar. I don't see the URL you posted...

Ditto what Bobby said. The navigation / UI of the community seems to have gotten worse and past solutions don't work anymore?

I'm not seeing a direct way to get/click to my own profile. From the main page and all pages from there, I still don't see a way to get a list of topics I've replied to or are subscribed to. Clicking on my "Welcome, [Name]" goes to the page iPunk screen-shotted.
