Elements 10: How do I create a brush preset library that persists in the dropdown selector?

I'm using photoshop elements 10. I want to create a group of my favorite brushes in a handy location. i know how to save and load a group as a brush library. once i load it, it appears at the bottom of the brush preset libraries list [below wet media
brushes]. if i switch to another brush list, the library i recently loaded from a
file disappears from the dropdown list. if i want to access them again, i need to
open the brush preset window if it is not already open, open the menu, select load,
and select the file.

is there a way i can store my brushes is a handy location? such
as near the top of the brush libraries list [next to 'default'], or replace the
'default brushes' with my brushes? through trial and error, i noticed that i may edit
the brush libraries, with the exceptions of default, assorted, and basic. the best i
can do is edit the 'calligraphic' library, as it is the uppermost library that allows
me to edit.

i tried posting this, and a window came up telling me its the first time i was posting so it asked me to log in. then a blank page appeared. when i broswed to find if it had been posted it did not show up after search. so i am posting again now.

If you save your presets to the Photoshop presets folder, then that file will be added to the menu the next time you launch Photoshop.

No, you cannot replace the default set.
