Which application are you using?
Which version?

In Photoshop, use the Text tool (click the T icon or press T to activate) and drag your mouse to define an area for your words. Type your poem into the box and press CNTRL+ENTER or click the Check Box in the Options Bar. You might want to adjust the color of the text so you can read it or add a Layer Style (such as Stroke or Outer Glow) to make it stand out.

Hope that helps!

David,

Thanks for responding:

I tried that just now, but, will not happen the way you said. I got the little box & tried expanding it a drop & tried pasting the poem & all that happened is, it expanded the box & no text is there.

The text box doesn't change size when you paste, only when you resize the box.

Again: which application are you using? Which version?
