Brian.

When you're in your Photoshop.com Library, select the image you want, then click on the Share Media button at the bottom. When the new dialogue box pops up, under the image preview on the left, there's a button with a "link" on it. That will copy the URL to your clipboard.

Thanks, but that method does not seem to work. Here is an example of what I expected to see as the address:

http://divertodiver.scubadiving.com/a...

Here's another example:
http://www.allenhost.com/gallery/d/11...

Both of the above allow me to post an image on a third party website.

This is what I get when I try copying the url from my photoshop.com library:
http://www.photoshop.com/users/bcorre...

I cannot use that address to link to the image. I have tried appending ".jpg" but that does not help.

Brian.

When you're on http://www.photoshop.com/users/bcorre..., right click on the image, and choose Copy Image Address. The exact wording might be different depending on what browser you're using. That will copy the JPG's URL to your clipboard.

Thanks again.

I now suspect that the photoshop.com address format is incompatible with the web site on which i want to place the image. I'll contact the webmaster there.

Pasting the photoshop.com link in a Word doc does give an active link.

You're welcome.

One more thing you can try, when at the Share Media dialogue, instead of the first button with the 'link', try the second button. It's the Embed button. That'll give you the standard code.

I have created a gallery and want to use the photos from the gallery I have created in my website.

How do I get a ? URL for the photo?

I am completely new to all of this and have very little experience, I don't understand why it is so difficult to take a photo from here and put it into my website?
