I have a new computer and scanner and have not been able to import photos from my scanner into Photoshop. I have used this often in the past to increase size and to print the resulting photo.

Which version of Photoshop?
What OS version?

Generally it is best to use the stand alone scanner application, save the file in a lossless format (like TIFF), then open the file in Photoshop. That way the scanner driver bugs can't crash Photoshop.

But you can scan via the OS native scanner APIs on Macintosh and Windows - but many scanner drivers have bugs that cause them to crash, on both platforms.

Thanks for the reply. I have a MAC OS 10 which complicates things. The scanner is a Kodak Work force 6. Fortunately the MAC is immune to bugs. Appreciate your help.
