Lightroom CC: How to resume pending migration?

Dear all

I decided to migrate my catalog from LR Classic to CC. After ~20h of Migration, i had to close Lightroom CC because i used my laptop. Now when i open LRCC, some of the pics (29k) are already in the cloud, but I have almost 50k in total.

Is there a way to resume the initial replication or do I really need to migrate all the 50k pictures in one batch?

Thanks for your help

Martin

User575057,

You should be able to access Migration again File>Migrate Lightroom Classic Catalog... and point back to the same catalog you originally attempted to migrate. It should recognize (and prompt you thusly) that it is a migration in progress and pick up again as closely as possible to the point where migration was aborted.

HI Rikk

Thanks for your feedback, seems to work. I don't know why it wasn't working last time I tried. I also moved the "original backup" path to a dedicated drive which can hold all the data. This seems to speed up the migration process.

Furthermore, the migration process eats a fair amount of ressources. LRCC alone allocates 8.5 GB of RAM. This should be considered as well...

Thanks again!
