Photoshop CC 2017: How to open FFF file

Hi guy, I cannot open the Hasselblad scanned FFF file in Photoshop CC 2017, on Win 10. My friends using Mac were able to manage it with CC 2017. And it seems there is solution for earlier version like CS5 or 6 (Win). Really hope to solve this.
Thanks!

You omitted to mention the camera model and the exact ACR version (Photoshop ... > About Plug-ins > Camera Raw).

Please see for yourself which version of Camera Raw supports a camera and which version of Photoshop is compatible with that ACR version:

Using the free DNG Converter might be an alternative.

If you prefer processing RAW images with ACR instead of the camera maker’s proprietary software you might want to petition them to allow shooting DNG so that Adobe does not have to play catch-up with each new camera model’s RAW format.

Thanks for replying. However, the FFF file is from the Hasselblad X5 scanner, scanning the developed film. I do not see that there is any camera related here...

I apologise, I had overlooked that.

Could you provide a file for testing?

I guess the plugin mentioned here may be obsolete but maybe the work-around still applies.

This is similar to what I had found. And, so far as I learnt, such trick would work only for CS6, or 5... not for CC. There is simply no FILES FORMAT under PLUG-INS, anymore.  :(((

if you simply change the extension to .tif and open the file, does it open?
