Are you talking about iPhone photos downloaded into Lightroom Classic? You can set the download location in the Lightroom preferences. Choose any folder you like. Then you can add the option to create subfolders by capture date.

ok, I guess I should have said "synced" iphone photographs. I can see them at the top left when I open  LRCC  under "all synced photographs", but I would like to have them moved to my folders and separated by date. Thanks.

See my first comment. Open your Lightroom Preferences and go to the 'Lightroom Sync' tab. There you can specify the location for your synched iPhone photos. And you can check the option that the images should be saved in subfolders by date. So select the same top folder that you use for your 'normal' photos, check that date option and you're done.

Maybe this helps. This catalog isn't synched, so the option isn't checked here, but you need what's in the red rectangle. Click the checkmarks, then press the 'Choose' button which has become active to choose your top folder.

Yes, thank you so much, that's it!!!! Now can you tell me how to move the photos that were already synced before I selected the "move to folders by date"? They still appear under "all synced photographs" and I cannot see how to move them.  I appreciate your help!
