Photoshop: How to change my brush speed? It's not lagging as such but deliberately reacting very slow to strokes?

Please help my change the pace of my brush stoked in photoshop to keep up with me!

If you have smooting active on your brush, it may look like it's slow. That's because PS is calculating if the stroke needs to be smoothened.
The higher the number, the smoother but also "slower" the brush

If you have a really complex brush, that can also slow things down - try resetting the tool to see if it's slow with a basic brush. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/basic-troubleshooting.html#tool

We are having the same issues with cloning and rubber stamp tool, both reacting to a sample and then brushing, as well as overall performance issues in this bug:
