how do i edit an image into a text?

is there any way i could photoshop images into a text? or even a template of some sort if you do have any?

That depends on what you mean. How are you trying to use the image and text?

And please remember that Photoshop is a trademark of Adobe Systems, not a verb.

Are you trying to create something like this?

To do so in Photoshop, you have MANY options.  This is one:

1) open your base image (in this case, me with some popcorn)
2) add a type layer, such as "hi"
3) CNTRL/CMD+click the text layer to select the outline of the "hi"
4) click the Add Layer Mask icon at the bottom of the Layers Panel or click Layer > Layer Mask > Reveal Selection
5) move the newly-created layer mask onto your base image
6) hide or delete your original text layer
