I imported a photo shoot to my Lightroom CC. However found that Lightroom CC does not have a HDR merge. Insteading of repeated importing to my Lightroom Classic CC to continue with my workflow, is it possible to move imported photos to Lightroom Classic CC until Lightroom CC grow up with features of Lightroom Classic CC?. This would apply to merge Panorama stitching.

Yes, absolutely. The new LRCC won't have enough features for everyone yet.

If sync is enabled in your LR Classic catalog, it'll automatically download those photos you added to LRCC.

How do I move the original from the LR CC web onto my LR Classic desktop?  If I understand correctly, your suggestion above will leave an original copy on the web.  Right?  I want to move the original onto the desktop and leave a smart preview on the web.

I shoot with Lr CC app on my iPhone.  The original goes to the web and counts against the 20 gb.  I want to store the original on my desktop and not incur the storage charge on the web.  Ideally, the image would move from the iPhone Lr app thru the web to Lr Desktop.  A smart preview would remain on the web.

This used to work with LR (Classic) and LR Mobile before the new CC was invented.

Just enabling sync in Classic would sync down any originals from the cloud into your desktop Classic catalog. Exactly the same as it did before.

To then remove the original from the cloud, you'd have to remove them from All Synced Photographs in LR Classic's Catalog panel, let it finish syncing (so it removes the original from the cloud) and then add it back into sync to upload the smart preview. The gotcha is that might remove it from collections, if you don't unsync the collections first too.

Thanks.

I reimport the photo shoots via the classic way to keep my 20gb quota in Lightroom CC. Will use Lightroom to sync all my smartphones photos. Looks like installs of Lightroom CC mobile on multiple phones goes into one location and I can move them in Lightroom Classic CC to my external storage and clearing/removing them from Lightroom CC (ie Cloud storage). Not ready to spend another usd10 for 1TB storage.
Question: Does signing up for Lightroom CC for 1TB add on to the existing Photography plan of 20G. Meaning I will get 1020GB of CC cloud storage or just 1TB?
Sounds like nick-picking but 20GB cloud storage is hard to come by FOC :)

You get 1TB, but 1TB is (officially) 1024 GB... :)
