Yes, that's what I would like to happen. I double click, change the color property, but don't see any changes. Unfortunately, the shape's properties are only changeable through the properties window panel.

Do you see the change after you click OK in the picker dialog and commit the change?
No. That's exactly what I would expect, but it won't change until I make it the change in the shape dialog box. Thanks for your help on this!
I think it may have to do with something in Live Shape Properties. Some shapes are only editable through that dialog window, while others seem to be editable in the legacy method (double click).
