How do I change the email address associated with these forums.

I want the email address I use with Adobe CC to be used as the email address for here.  How do it make that happen?  

I can not change my Profile as it says the email I want is taken!!!

Don't try to create a new login. Log out, then log in again with the AdobeID email address.

Thanks for responding.

I am logging in with my CC account but my notifications are going to the old account.  According to Adobe support, I have just the one account  (CC account) and it has the correct email address.  They have no idea how to fix my profile on here which has an old account (pre CC) and the old email address.  

Guy in support didn't know what GetSatisfaction nor photoshop.com are.

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure I understand this. If you get notifications at a different email address, then that must mean you have another account here with that different address. 

As far as I can see, you are using a gmail address for this forum. Is that your current AdobeID or not? If it is not, then logout and then login with your correct credentials. 

Mind you, replies that people give on your old messages will still go to your old email address. That only makes sense and I don't think that can be changed. You can stop that by logging in with the old credentials and change the notification settings (or delete the account completely), but you can't redirect the notifications.

Your response came to consolidated.net address.  I login with gmail, go to profile and it has consolidated.net address and won't let me change it to the gmail one because it is in use.  I know I had two accounts at one time as I originally used the consolidated.net and when CC came along I used the gmail account.  I'd just like to combine them with gmail as the notification address and login with the gmail address.

When I check my notification settings, I see an option to add a second email address. Have you tried that instead of trying to change the primary address? If you have added the gmail account as a second address, maybe you can then delete the consolidated.net address or change which one is the primary address.

That is in my profile.  I can insert gmail as second.  When I try to delete consolidated I get the message that I can't remove the primary because the gmail is already in use.

Who maintains the ID and password info?  You are trying to be helpful but neither of us knows what is going on with that info and who can change it.  Maybe that's the problem in that no one is handling that part of this forum.  Is this an Adobe website or is it run by Get Satisfaction for Adobe?  Who knows?  I can't get Get Satisfaction to respond either.

I think the problem is that you have two accounts and that the primary email address is the account login name. You can't change the login name of the consolidated.net account to the gmail address, because that gmail address is already used as the login name of the other account. It all makes sense, except that you say that you are logged in with your gmail address when you try this. That does not make sense, because then you should see your gmail address as your primary email. I have no idea how that is possible.

You could consider deleting the consolidated.net account...
