So whenever I click BUY NOW (not Subscribe to use now) I get taken to a creative cloud page telling me to subscribe. I just want to BUY photoshop and use it. How do I do that?

As far as I know: You can still buy the CS6 Suite (which is at the level of 2012 and costs more than $1000) if you call Adobe sales.

The Adobe Photography CC subscription is a bargain, because you'll get Lightroom and PS and the synchronization between Lightroom Mobile and Lightroom Desktop is worth alone the price.

Do the math: The standalone version of Photoshop CS6 was about $800 (without Lightroom). Compared to this you'll get almost 7 years of Photography CC including LR and all updates.

Then after the 7 years you get nothing but a big fat D in the A. No, subscriptions are a ripoff and nothing more than a cash grab for big companies like this. I will continue to pirate adobe software until they implement a reasonably priced purchasable for non-upper class individuals. I got a real nice monitor tablet for less than the purchase price of 6 year old Photoshop. The software should not cost more than the hardware!

You can buy a used Photoshop 6, BUT you must make sure previous owner has removed it from and his/her computer and the S/N is Okay with Adobe before you purchase used version.  Don't pay before it is active on your computer!

The only way to get a Photoshop is thru a subscription, and also if you find something is not sure working so for 10$ you can have a Photoshop and Lightroom with all new feature and update. 10$ month is a very cheap price

Ya, it works if you don't think about it! Wow, ONLY 10$!
You do realize that the 10 year compound cost to RENT this program is 1200$(more if tax is added)? I've already been on this ride with monthly subscription games and for 12 years(on and off) I spent over 5k on one game. After all that I can't even fully enjoy the game unless I continue to pay the sub. Don't let that 10$ price-tag fool you.

I just want the option to purchase if I can afford it not have you decide that because the Cloud opens up your client base that should be the only option .  As a company don't push me into a rental and sell me that it is for my own financial good.  I want the option as a customer not what you think is best for me.    I want to purchase Photoshop CS6 not rent it.   Thank you

You can't buy Photoshop CS6 anymore, period. Perhaps you can use Photoshop Elements instead? For many people Photoshop Elements is perfectly adequate and that you can purchase as perpetual license.
