Simple fact is you Can't. You must have an internet connection to start with and then every 90 +/- days to verify your subscription status.

That also goes for all other Adobe programs (and I would think 99% of all current versions of other software).

If you have no internet how did you download and install LR Classic? To my knowledge it is only available as a Download that requires an Internet Connection. IE it is Not sold in a BOX with a CD/DVD disc.
Also If you have no internet how did you post this question to this forum?

You need internet access to sign in, and then intermittently (every few weeks) thereafter to confirm that your subscription is still active.

You only have to have an internet connection once every 90 days, or somewhere around that time period.

That is unless you Sign Out. Is that something you do? Sign Out?
If you do stop doing that.

You can dismiss the warning for one calendar month + 99 days before the app is deactivated. If you are paying month to month then you only have 30 Days.

Do you have another Internet connected system or phone? If so follow the procedure below for Offline Activation:

I dont sign out. But over night I lost my Internet connection until Now 16:00 EDT So until now I could not access LR Classic. I have to login every few days for some odd reason.  Just wondering how are we to use a installed product on PC if we can not connect to the internet.

Make sure Sync is paused and Automatic Updates is unchecked in LR Preferences. Also see my last reply with a link for Offline Activation.

Is this a laptop or desktop Ronald? We've heard some reports of laptop batteries dying causing the saved login to be invalidated.

It might be quicker to contact customer services for this, as they can log in to your computer and figure out why you're getting logged out. That's the key here, as once you're logged in, you should be able to stay logged in.

Some clarity is required. Are you signing in via the Adobe Creative Clod Desktop App, (ACCDA) or via Lightroom Classic. The ACCDA is key, is critical, to proper use of the Creative Cloud programs. Do not worry youshelf with being signed in via LR, instead make sure you are signed in via ACCDA, and never sign out. If you do it sign out via ACCDA then LR will not give you heartburn when not connected for about 90. days

Hi Ron, the behavior you describe is certainly not the expected behavior. I've asked an agent to reach out to you directly.

2nd tech called me after the 1st. what was discovered is that the Adobe billing cycles happen about the same time each month 24-27ish.  I like most folks pay each month? Even yearly folks could get caught in this. so for me it was checking my monthly status and this caused the problem?  Now I could be wrong, but this is what we could come up with.

Sounds like they were able to connect with you and found that you were not connected to the internet when trying to sign in. Once connected, things activated correctly. Is that the case?

This is crap. I have a laptop I use purely for travel. It’s old and the barltterybholds little charge so I plug it in for power when I use it.
There MUST be some way to allow people who HAVE PAID for the subscription to use what they PAID for.
This is now twice within a couple of weeks this has happened to me. It never happened before that.
I JUST updated everything on this laptop for this trip thinking maybe it would help. I guess I was wrong. I also guess this is why Adobe has chosen this model of keeping the product in the cloud... not really MY subscription on MY computer.

1. I have no idea what the specifics to your problem are.
2. Not sure what edition of Lightroom you are using
3. Four month old discussion, would be better to post your own

Recommend that you repost your specific problem as a new discussion (problem). You may get more pelts if you do.

Request that you include exactly what is occuring

Request that you include your system information as Lightroom reports it. In Lightoom click on Help, click on System Information, click on Copy. Paste into reply.

Reccomend that you also post in https://community.adobe.com/t5/Lightroom-Classic/bd-p/lightroom-classic  (if lightroom classic)

How about using your notebook, the one where the internal battery that powers the unit is bad, before you do your traveling and making sure it is signed in and functioning properly.

If also the internal CMOS battery is bad, causing you to lose all your BIOS settings and the like (Date and Time and the like) I suggest you have that replaced.

Or buy a new battery or batteries.
