Camera Raw: How can I get DCP Camera profile for Nikon D800 camera?

if you want to create a new one (vs using the ones that Adobe supplies) then may be start with reading the following :

D800 should have an Adobe provided camera profile. If you aren't seeing it, you might be using a JPEG image. Shoot in raw and the profiles will be available.

somebody buying D800 and then has no clue about raw ? but possible ... as for Adobe - just like with embedded lens profiles (remember all those questions about lens profiles) -  it makes sense to put a message in the relevant tab somewhere in ACR & LR - when .jpg or .tiff opened - that no DCP profiles are available for non "raw" files... $0.02
