I am currently using Lightroom 4.1 RC 2 on a 1366x 768 pixel monitor.

In development module, I setting solo mode for the development setting tabs to save space.
However, many time I wish I could have more space to view all the setting in each tabs. The current design consist of total 8 tab, from Basic to Camera Calibration.
And whne I select for a example, the detail tab; the I would need to scroll up / down in order to view all the setting. This is because the Lightroom used a lot of space to display the tab title for Basic, Tone Curve, HSL, Split Toning, and Detail on the top.
I attached the below snapshot of my screen for your kind perusal. Even, with the histogram closed to ease viewing of the settings, the detail tab now only let me see half of the settings; the the other half only access by scrolling down abit.

With the scrolling only made posible by mouse click and no keyboard scrolling, this really made photo editing less easy compare to camera raw.

Plus, the condition gets worst when the filmstrip are being turn on.

Hence, I propsed to add option to set the delopment module's tab layout into something simlar to that of the Camera Raw which uses small horizontal icons instead to large vertical tabs with large titles. The histogram tab can retain the option to turn on of off.

I hope this idea can get favourable consideration, or someone also teach me on other alternative method to be able to see those settings will be good too.
Thank you.
