Are you talking about Photoshop > Preferences > General > History Log or the History Panel?

I am talking about the history panel. There is an option to activate so i could produce a new snapshot at every saving, but:
1. this snapshot does not include the informations i would like to see (name, file type and save type)
2. a snapshot uses memory and most of time i do not need a snapshot, just an info WHEN i saved an image
3. the snapshot does not occur IN the history, it is in the snapshot collection above the history, so no one can identify WHERE/WHEN in the history this snapshot was taken

I guess you are trying to use the History Panel for something it was not intended for.
Naturally if enough users should feel the same way that should merit some consideration at Adobe.

But I feel you should just try the History Log.

It ́s difficult. If i set the history log to "detailed" all my necesary informations are saved in the log, thats ok. BUT i cannot see the history log while i work on a picture, i only can see the history panel OR i change into file information window and CANNOT work at same time. So i think it would be better to include these info in the history panel OR create a possibility ( maybe new panel or enhancement of info panel) where i can see the history log WHILE working.
