Lightroom CC: Histogram is clipped

The histogram is frequently being clipped for me which seems like a bug. I had posted this in some other Adobe Lightroom forum and Akash Sharma recommended that I post here for Adobe Engineers.  Here's a screenshot of what I'm seeing.

Hi Mark,

No worries. That is just how histograms work. The vertical indicators are just telling you that you have an abundance of tones in that range and it's just relative to the rest of the image.

i'm trying to calibrate my spyderchecker and i can't get percentages of color to read up on this histogram.  does this version not display percentages?
