How Come YOUR software is so HIGH, who has $700 just to edit pictures, how come you can't bring the price down..I think it is ridiculous to be so high, guess i will never be getting any of your products!!!

»I think it is ridiculous to be so high,«
First off Adobe has to invest a lot of resources in developing and maintaing software of the quality of Photoshop – naturally the profit they expect to make does affect the selling price (and possibly even more in the non-US-markets).

But many people use the software professionally, meaning that it is a tool essential to earning their livelihood.

I guess with software the fact that duplicating the program will not diminish the physical possessions of the producers seems to confuse some people who make a profit by using the fruits of those producers’ labours ...
Mind you, I appreciate that you declaring you will simply not get the software means you are not one of those!

I guess the OP is probably aware of GIMP.
While I have no experience with the program it has been favourably mentioned occasionally, so it may be a good (and free) alternative for people who do not need a very wide or full range of Photoshop’s features.

There is nothing ridiculous about prices. If you are a professional designer, photographer, etc. you can earn money with photoshop and other adobe products. So, you can pay the price of the product that make benefit to you. I think the ridiculous thing here, your wording.
