When will Adobe include this very important function into Lightroom Classic CC? Picasa had this feature years ago already!

Probably never. But creating a second, private catalog and use the operating system security to control access should do it.

Agreed. Every OS allows people to log in to a personal account, so there is no reason why other people would be able to see your private photos (or any other private information) if you don't want them to. This is not something Lightroom needs to address at the catalog level.
