Lightroom: Ability to hide film strip in Library and keep it visible in Develop

i need film strip visible in develop but never in grid view - may i hide it in library and keep it visible in develop like i do with left or right panels ?

You know that at the bottom of the filmstrip, in the middle, when you hover you should see a little triangle that shows/hides the filmstrip? But it's not independent like the panels, or at least, I haven't found a way to make it so. On or off in both, so not as convenient to customize the workspace per module as with the panels.

You might make an Idea post as a feature request? Not that I think it will quickly become a priority to change, but the more we can customize a workspace, the better, imo .  '-}

yes, i have to hide/show filmstrip every time i change modules - not so clever - I've create a shortcut in osx to manage that ( another absense in LR ), but it feels annoying in a professional tool - i will try to post a description in the ideas section - thanks christen !

I'm with you on the absence of customized kbsc, as well. Something else LR needs to address.

Talking keyboard shortcuts-  F6 on a pc hides/shows the filmstrip.  Maybe not as easy on a Mac?
