It would be great to have the ability to choose which images are synced and to be able to turn sync on or off for individual images.

You can already. Add photos you want to sync to the All Synced Photos collection in the Catalog panel, and renew them from there to stop it syncing.

No I can't! I had logged into LR mobile synced some images and then switched off sync. Now every time I make a copy, edit or move the images I get a notification that it will be synced when I reconnect to mobile which I don't use. I cannot get the images to stop trying to sync every time...

Oh ok, that sounds like a completely different issue. So you're not using Lightroom mobile anymore and you'd like to get rid of the warnings? If you go to Preferences > Lightroom mobile and press the Delete All Data button, it'll tell you how to clear the server, which should get rid of anything sync related.

Hi! Thanks for the info. I did as you suggested and it solved my issue. It is a convoluted way of solving the issue though. As I suggested why not have a right click un-sync option on the image thumbnail in the library. The thumbnail has a sync symbol in the top right which could be used to control this. A much simpler, easy way of controlling sync. When I travel I often do not have internet and so there is no point in trying to sync images. When I have finished travelling I like to sync my best images to enable edits and display for clients. Thanks!
