Photoshop: Helvetica Neue Bold doesn't render spaces under Lion

Loaded up some PSDs that I had created in Snow Leopard after installing Lion and they looked fine... except for one thing. Anywhere that I used Helvetica Neue Bold there were no spaces in between words anymore.

This issue doesn't occur in anything else other than Photoshop (I've actually also seen it in Illustrator). Tried clearly Adobe font cache, multiple times... no dice. It would be very awesome to get a solution on this because it's preventing me from using that font, which is used quite often.

We're currently investigating the problem. It appears to be isolated to CS4 and CS3 and exclusively with the Bolded version of Helvetica Neue. There is no problem if you're running CS5 or CS5.1 or if you're running an earlier version using a different style of Helvetica Neue (such as Bold Italic, Light, Condensed Bold, Regular, etc).

We'll work with Apple on this issue. Adobe applications aren't the only ones affected. Sounds like even Safari is bitten by this issue.

Apple fixed this in subsequent releases of OS X (10.7.x) or later.
