HELP! Photoshop is constantly crashing now every time I save. I've done a restart, trashed my preferences, turned off any/all extensions - tried 'save as', created new files and tried to save them - nothing works, a crash EVERY TIME.

Here is my log dump up on GIST: https://gist.github.com/jeffdingwell/...

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

The crash log says your Extensis font plug-in is crashing.

Thread 0 Crashed:: Main Thread Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread
0 com.apple.CoreFoundation 0x00007fff858da052 CFArrayCreateMutableCopy + 34
1 com.extensis.AutoActivationPlugin.PS13 0x0000000120a4aaba WriteXMPFontSenseSlugToFile(std::string const&, __CFArray const*) + 263
2 com.extensis.AutoActivationPlugin.PS13 0x0000000120a1a34f RemoveAllFontSenseSlugsForDocument() +

This may be because it's an old version of the plug-in, or you have a bad font or font cache.

Both can be troubleshot using the following document: http://bit.ly/Troubleshoot_PS

The plugin has been removed (long ago earlier today) and the problems keep rolling in. Here's an updated log: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/504...

So save or save has still creates an immediate crash. Not a freeze, the app just goes away altogether.

Things I've done to resolve the issue:

uninstalled and reinstalled PS (no change)

created a new user on my laptop (problem not showing up for the new user - but not practical to just move everything over there at the moment)

Any more thoughts? I'm going through the helpx doc online to see if there is anything that helps.

Still crashing in Extensis.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Directions for sharing your system info from Photoshop:

Here's the requested info. https://gist.github.com/anonymous/504...

I see what you mean about Extensis:
Extensis 3.0.10.9, "Copyright © 2012 Celartem, Inc., doing business as Extensis. All rights reserved." - from the file “ExtensisFontManagementPSCS6.plugin”

I'm trying to uninstall that.

Update....

So I manually deleted the extensis plugin (I had disabled it via the extension manager). Things seem to have improved (a quick new file/save didn't cause a crash). I'll work for the rest of the night to see if things have in fact been resolved. Thanks for you input.

Problem seems to have been resolved. I've been working for a few hours and saving no longer crashes my Photoshop. Damn you Extensis, damn you.

BTW....BIG thanks to Jeffrey Tranberry for his help yesterday. Probably wasn't much to him, but saved me a phenomenal amount of grief and time. Thanks again.
