Hi,
I'm having a bit of an issue with "new adjustment layers" - I am able to select the adjustment layer of my choice - however the window never appears to make changes or customize.

Which version of Photoshop are you using?
What OS version?
Have you installed all the Photoshop updates?

And are you forgetting about the properties panel, where you edit the adjustment layer settings?

Hello, if you use the newer versions of Photoshop, you do not adjust the settings anymore in the same panel that you select the adjustments from. You now use the properties panel to do so. Is it showing? did you check the window menu?

I'm using Photoshop CC - Yes, I've checked the "Window" drop down menu and also selected properties, but there isn't anything that displays.

If you select an adjustment layer, or create a new adjustment layer, then the properties for that adjustment will appear in the properties palette.

It is not appearing. I've even selected "edit adjustment" while in the layer panel. Hmm...it was working fine last week. Not exactly sure what happened.

Did you have a second display connected and move the palette onto that display?

In this case, I would try to recreate the preferences, CTRL+ALT+SHIFT / CMD+OPT+SHIFt as soon as you start Photoshop, then you accept the prompt.
