HELP!! my cs6 can't remember brush settings...HAAA!

This is what happen in my Mac:
I have a basic hard brush with the saved preset of 25% opacity. Normally when I choose it from my own set of preset brushes this brush comes up set with 25% opacity. In CS6 when I choose this brush it comes in set to whatever the last brush was set to, making my preset set of brushes useless. I tried looking for information in the Adobe forums but it takes hours to go through all the postings.

Please Help!

Actually is not really a solution, My friend who knows Photoshop has informed me that Photoshop has never worked that way (being able to save Opacity from the top menu)...Sorry for this post I guess I was wrong from the start.

Oh, you mean that brush presets don't save color or opacity (the tool settings).
That's because brush presets are usable across many different tools.

To save the color, opacity and other tool specific settings you need to use a tool preset.
