my lightroom 3 is showing no photos, folders or collections. I had about 2,000 on there. They are present on the MAC hard drive but with out my hours of edits etc. How can everything disappear? Im so upset I don't know what to do. As over night it all went. Do I go to Adobe for help? is it a problem with my lightroom? Please help me.

Sounds like you somehow created a new catalog.

What happens if you hold down the [option] key and start Lightroom. Does it show your catalog with all your changes in the Recent Catalog list?

hello. thank you for replying. I have just tried that and all it brings up is an empty lightroom? I really can't think that all my photos have disappeared?
