Hi there,

I just took a course in digital bookmaking and I brought home my near final book on my personal hard drive to finish it up at home.  I installed Lightroom Classic on my home Mac... and I imported the last saved catalog from class.  It loaded all of my photos and then created a new book with every single photo in my library.  Definitely NOT the book i had worked on for a week in class.  I can't seem to locate the book I had made in class.  It was a saved project and all was good.  I know it's in there somewhere!

Any advice as to how I can retrieve it?  Did I import incorrectly?

Any input would be appreciated! I have emailed my instructor, but haven't heard back.

Thanks!
Liz

You say you ‘imported the last saved catalog’. How did you do this exactly? It sounds like you didn’t do this properly. Do you still have this catalog? That book should be in this catalog.

Hi Johan,

I simply went to "file" and clicked on Import from Another Catalog.  And I sued the last saved catalog from class.  Yes, I still have the catalog.

Oh YAY! I just found it. I closed out and relaunched it opening the older catalog directly (with Open Catalog) rather than importing... thanks for your help!
