hello! i need help! i have a logo which was sent to me with a transparent background, im trying to change the background colour on cs5 so that the background is black so i can see what the logo will look like when it is on a black box.
i have very limited photoshop knowledge so if anyone could give me a dummies guide how to get my logo on to a black background, or how to turn the transparent background black behind the logo that would be gratefully appreciated!! ive just spent the last hour trying to follow tutorials but if i try and change it with the quick selection tool the logo is too fidly and it keeps swallowing some of the logo.. there has to be an easier way? hopefully?! thanks in advance!

Create a new layer, fill it with black and in the layer panel drag it below the logo layer.
